Information Needed When Asking for Help
When asking for help, include the following information:¶

City
This helps people advise you on food, specialists, possible foster carers, and so on. -
The bird's weight
This is important for diagnosis and for understanding whether the bird is weakened. A weakened bird needs gentler feeding (squeezed insect abdomens) and more frequent feeding. The normal weight of an adult swift is about 40 grams. Chicks should weigh more.
Tip: if you do not have kitchen scales, you can weigh the swift in a box at a shop, then remove the bird and see the weight of the box. The difference is the swift's weight. -

-
A brief (!) history
Under what circumstances did you find the bird, what actions have you taken, and how is it behaving? -
A full top view photo of the swift on a light background, a photo of the face, clear photos of any injuries (if present), and ideally a video of the swift's behavior.
From these materials, specialists can identify problems, give recommendations, or decide whether to take the bird from you (no one wants to take a complete unknown). -
Your question, which you want answered.
